Stating that the state government is committed to uplifting every family in society as well as improving their economic status, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said on Monday that a plan to comprehensive action has been prepared in the state under which education, health, all development and well-being of every citizen will be ensured with emphasis on security, self-respect and autonomy.

For this, citizen data collected in the Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) was divided by age into five categories and responsibility for each category was assigned to a department. Each department will maintain a comprehensive record of benefits for all plans and services based on age group, education, health and employment, among others, he added.

Chairing the review meeting regarding the Parivar Pehchan Patra in Chandigarh, Khattar said responsibility for children up to the age of six has been given to the Department of Women and Child Development. The department will pay particular attention to the elementary education and nutrition of these children. In addition, the department will also keep track of every child whether he or she stays at home, goes to anganwadi or school until the age of 6 and ensures that he or she receives the necessary nutritious foods. “If children receive good nutrition and education from the start, their foundations will be strong and they will move forward in a positive direction in life,” he added.

Khattar further instructed the officers to prepare and implement an action plan for all these activities soon. Apart from this, he also ordered to speed up the process of setting up crèches for the day care of children.

The Chief Minister said that school education is just as important as elementary education. Therefore, with the vision that no child should be deprived of education, responsibility for children in the age bracket of 6 years to 18 years has been given to the Department of School Education. The Department will ensure a particular follow-up of school dropouts while providing education to each child, so that the school dropout rate can be reduced. The department will have the data of each child, whether he is studying at school or at ITI or any other institute. He ordered officers to set up a special monitoring cell and prepare SOPs. Similarly, the care of children in the age group of 18 to 24 years has been entrusted to the Department of Higher Education and that of the age group of 25 to 60 years to the Department of Use. These departments will emphasize the employment of young people as well as the development of their skills.

Khattar said the Parivar Pehchan Patra Authority will send data to these departments every month. The department will implement these activities at its level. He said the current state government is moving forward with a transparent system and providing benefits from all government facilities and schemes to beneficiaries at their doorstep.

The Chief Minister has directed that a grievance cell be established at the district level under the direction of the additional deputy commissioner to eliminate the difficulties encountered by the citizens in the application of the PPP if the data is incorrect or if changes must be made. the data. He was informed during the meeting that a chatbot will soon be launched on the Parivar Pehchan Patra portal, in which citizens can have their grievances resolved.
