Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) – A grand opening celebration will take place this afternoon for the RAEDI Economic Development Center in Rochester.
The event begins at 3 p.m. with a ribbon cutting and program, but the public is welcome to tour the facility until 5 p.m. According to Rochester Area Economic Development Inc. President John Wade, the one-stop development center for new and existing businesses will “accelerate economic growth in the Rochester area by streamlining collaboration between businesses and diverse business organizations. non-profits that serve them”.
RAEDI has partnered with African Development Hubba, Black Entrepreneurship Team, Collider, Southeast Minnesota Capital Fund, Southeast Minnesota Small Business Development Center and the Minnesota’s SCORE to “increase access to business start-up services and increase communication and accessibility among different providers” in Economic Development.
EDC is located on the sixth floor of the Minnesota BioBusiness Center at 221 First Avenue Southwest.
